My name is Molly Marina. I photograph people and work as a Creative Director in Copenhagen.
Personality comes first.
I am interested in what makes a face and a person individual. Light and shadow are tools, but the picture begins with meeting you.
My work ranges from simple, quiet portraits to more artistic interpretations. The direction needs to fit the person and the story in front of us.
We begin by listening.
Before the camera comes out, we talk about your wishes. What draws you to a picture? Where will it be used? What would you like to bring forward, and what feels less natural?
That gives us a shared direction and room to work. A personal portrait does not have to be perfect in one particular sense. It should have an expression you want to return to.
